Staff Expertise
The NBDC staff has almost 30 years of expertise in assisting corporations with issues relating to the employment of people with disabilities. Some of our areas of expertise include ADA Compliance, building and product accessibility, reasonable accommodation, job analysis, recruitment, specialized equipment, career development and much more. Our Information Specialists can assist you with inquiries into any disability-related employment issue.
In recognition of NBDC’s expertise and efforts, the Council has been awarded the highly prestigious U.S. Department of Labor’s Exemplary Public Interest Contribution (EPIC) Award, as well as the New York Human Rights Commission’s Champions of Diversity Award.
